SDC Library
The library is open to the general public. It intends to provide its members with books related to subjects such as: Spirituality, pedagogy, Scripture, philosophy, psychology, life of Saints and other subjects related to Christian faith.
One can also find an entire section with books on spirituality and others, published in the Maltese language. The library also offers entire sections directed to a particular age group. There are sections for children, adoloscent and young adults. Apart from books, the library also provides DVDs that deal with themes intended to facilitate discussions among groups that can primarily be used by catechists and group leaders. The catechist can also find a number of books, periodicals and megazines that can help him/her in grasping better the art of communicting and sharing faith with the young and adults alike.
The library subscribes to a number of periodicals and megazines on a number of different subjects such as: mission, catechesis and Christian news from around the world.
A quaterly Newsletter with book appreciation and news of new additions is issued by the library’s Board. The general enviornment of the library offers also an excellent setting for one to spend time in study and research work. At present the library has over 11,600 books.
